WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON:
Durable Restoration is a specialized historic preservation contractor focused on restoring stone, masonry, and architectural structures across federal, military, and historic sites.
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON:
- Work on the restoration and preservation of historic masonry and stone structures
- Perform repointing and repair of aging masonry systems
- Work with lime-based mortars and specialty restoration materials
- Contribute to federal, military, and historic preservation projects
- Hands-on craftsmanship on long-lasting, visible structures
PREFERRED TRAITS:
- Experience in repointing or masonry repair (historic mortar experience is a plus—we will train the right candidates)
- Carpentry, metal work, roofing skills are a plus
- Historic mortar experience is not required—we provide full training in restoration techniques.
COMPENSATION:
- $20-$40/hr. based on experience and skill progression
- Pay increases based on performance
BASIC REQUIREMENTS:
- Masonry experience and efficiency
- Reliable work ethic
- Pre-employment drug screening (We are a drug free workplace!)
- Pre-employment background check
- Federal/DoD clearance needed for specific projects
